Mike Kennedy has 12 years of experience as a homebuilder. He oversees all aspects of Kennedy Builders.
Mike enjoys the challenge of helping clients envision the finished 3-dimensional product. He makes this
happen, in part, by staying informed about the latest trends in construction and working to accommodate buyers’ wishes.
Today that means details like Quartz counter tops, exotic hardwood flooring, wider trim around windows and baseboards, bigger windows, bigger doors, and more garage space.
After more than a dozen years in construction, Mike still takes great satisfaction in the reactions of buyers
as they take possession of their new home. Mike is also a licensed realtor at Keller Williams Realty and can assist with the selling of your current home during the building process.
Mike earned his degree in Agricultural Economics from University of Illinois in 1994.
Dana Kennedy, Owner/Engineer
Dana Kennedy had an 11 year career in the software engineering world before becoming full-time mother to the Kennedy Builder children. Her resume includes positions with Motorola, Andersen Consulting, Tellabs and the Department of Computer Science at the University of Illinois.
Today she is behind the scenes of Kennedy Builders working as webmaster and research & marketing guru. Dana also owns Chow Bella Catering and is managing partner of Kennedy Realty Group (a subsidiary of Kennedy Enterprises, LLC). She is a 5-year active volunteer in the Junior League of Champaign-Urbana.
Dana appreciates what a home means to the family that lives within it and knows building is a dream for many. It is thrilling for her to see a client's joy as they know they are getting the best deal for their hard-earned dollar.
Dana earned her degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Illinois in 1996.
