Mike Kennedy has over 13 years of experience as a homebuilder. He oversees all aspects of Kennedy Builders.

Mike enjoys the challenge of helping clients envision the finished 3-dimensional product. He makes this happen, in part, by staying informed about the latest trends in construction and working to accommodate buyers’ wishes.

Today that means having expertise in ENERGY STAR rated homes, staying up to date with products like Quartz counter tops, exotic hardwood flooring, and paying attention to the details clients enjoy: wider trim around windows and baseboards, bigger windows, bigger doors, and more garage space.

Even after more than a dozen years in construction, Mike still takes great satisfaction in the reactions of buyers as they take possession of their new home. Mike is a licensed realtor at Keller Williams Realty and can assist with the selling of your current home during the building process.

Mike is on the Board of Directors of the Home Builders Association of East Central Illinois for the 3rd year.

Mike earned his degree in Agricultural Economics from University of Illinois in 1994.

Before starting Kennedy Builders, Dana Kennedy worked in software engineering and academia holding positions with Motorola, Andersen Consulting, Tellabs, and the Department of Computer Science at the University of Illinois.

Dana is behind the scenes of Kennedy Builders working as "the glue". She handles much of the financial side of the business, market research, occasionally meets with clients, maintains the website & is full-time care giver to the Kennedy Builders children.

She appreciates what a home means to the family that lives within it and knows that building a home is a dream for many. It is thrilling for her to see a client's joy as they move into a quality home for their hard-earned dollar. What Dana REALLY enjoys renovating! She would love to talk with you about updating or expanding your home to make the best use of your current space.

Dana is a 7-yr active volunteer and on the Board of Directors of the Jr League of Champaign-Urbana.

Dana earned her degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Illinois in 1996.
